Hi-G-Tek Delivers Asset Visibility and Savings

Hi-G-Tek, A Provider of Highly Intelligent RFID Asset Sense and Control Solutions, Delivers Asset Visibility and Savings to Paz Energy in Israel.

Rockville, Md., May 3, 2007 - Hi-G-Tek, a leading developer and provider of Highly Intelligent RFID (Radio Frequency ID) sense and control solutions for high-value assets and sensitive materials, has delivered its leading-edge technology to Paz, a vertical energy and fuel distribution company in Tel Aviv, Israel.

"With this successful deployment for Paz, Hi-G-Tek continues to build out our value-based global RFID sensing and solutions network," said Larry A. Blue, President and CEO of Hi-G-Tek. "Paz realizes savings from real-time status information across their fuel distribution supply chain, and benefits from up-to-the-minute information to manage their business much more efficiently."

The technology, developed by Hi-G-Tek, will enable tracking and control of fuel tankers from the loading of fuel at the refinery to the final opening of the valve during unloading at the consumer fuel stations.

The Hi-G-Tek solution enables the tracking and control of the route taken by the fuel tanker and ensures that the tankers' valves will open only when they reach the final destination. If the valves open sooner or if the tanker deviates from its route, the system sends real-time alerts to the company's main dispatch and text messages to the mobile phones of distribution personnel. This is their signal to take immediate action.

Paz is the first Israeli fuel company to embrace advanced technology to deal with real-time visibility and dilution of fuel. The company has invested significant resources by developing automated control methods and by supporting new technologies. This guarantees consumers the highest quality products that are marketed at its fuel stations.
