Checks locks remotely and systematicallyHi-G-Tek makes the lock a responsive part of the security system by giving it active characteristics. When embedded with smart electronics, a lock or seal will record and transmit any attempt at moving, opening, bypassing or tampering with it. Such responsiveness is particularly effective in places with low-scale security coverage. All the locks in such an areas, connected to a network, provide greatly enhanced protection and immediate alerts for any problem. Many smarts in a small packageThe heart of the Hi-G-Tek locking system is the Hi-G-Lock. This lock uses wireless technology and includes a transmitter/receiver unit, read/write capability, real time clock and memory. The encrypted multi-strand wire and embedded sensors inside it detect any attempt at interference - recording and transmitting every such event. Hi-G-Lock was developed and patented by Hi-G-Tek, and implemented using locks from Mul-T-Lock, a world leader in high-security products and a strategic partner with Hi-G-Tek. Inexpensive and highly versatileThe modest unit price of the Hi-G-Lock and its high versatility makes it an effective and practical building block in any security system. In low frequency short-range mode, the lock logs and communicates data through a Handheld Data Terminal and can be armed and inspected by a MicroReader. In high frequency long-range mode, Hi-G-Lock has full read/write capabilities at distances of several hundred meters – allowing the system to register the status of locks, whether they are on the move or stationary. |
