Brian brings over 35 years of business and accounting experience that includes companies ranging in size from small closely held businesses to publicly held companies. This experience has given Brian an in-depth knowledge and appreciation of the day-to-day issues encountered by small businesses as well as the complexities encountered in larger publicly held companies. After leaving public accounting mr. Brian worked for a real estate development and construction firm as Vice President and Treasurer. He was responsible for the administrative functions as well as the negotiation and closing of in excess of $125 million of construction and permanent loan financing.
In 1997, Brian joined a small start-up defense contracting firm and was instrumental in the organization, management and ultimate successful sale of the company. In 2007, Brian was once again involved in running a start-up business for a company that had patented technology for illuminated truck side advertising where he held the dual duty of President and CFO.
Brian graduated from Clemson University in 1974 earned his CPA certificate in 1976.
